There are private sales offered on top notch designers clothes. Every day there are more sales events featuring different brands and including items like fashion, sporting goods, electronics and homewares.
Today some of the sales offered include Tracy Reese New York, Trina Turk, Alberta Ferretti, Elie Tahari, Calvin Klein and Nina Ricci Paris. I noticed something a bit different about this site so far- there are Facebook like buttons next to each brand and also a "watch trailer" feature which I clicked on under Elie Tahari's private sale. The video was slow to load but then offered some still images of multiple items in the collection while playing music.
After watching the trailer for Elie Tahari, I skipped over to shop the event at Trina Turk. Shopping categories were broken down into long dresses, day dresses, night dresses, special occasion and view all options. I selected long dresses and started viewing some beautiful pieces. If you're familiar with Trina Turk, there are lots of beachy and sexy dresses in her collections and at a high end price tag.
I skipped over to Calvin Klein Collection next and selected the Women's category. There were seceral really cool sunglasses prices at $58-$65 a pair. The suggested retail on these pieces went upwards of $265 a pair. I clicked ont he Metal Frame Translucent Arm Sunglasses and was given options to share, tweet, like on Facebook and view the product description. Here is the image for the pair I'm referring to.
There are also referral credits similar to other shopping sites where you would receive a $20 credit for each referral you get that has also made a purchase of $50 or more.
Overall, my first impression is that this is a high end shopping site with several social media features that aren't offered on some of the other similar sites. My only concern thus far is that the collections are not something that I personally can afford to shop. I would have to wait and see what other collections came available to gauge the relatability factor to myself. Also, I'm not an American Express cardholder, so that feature would go unused as well.
The site design is beachy and simple, easy to use.
I do love the social media buttons. I love sharing what I am shopping with friends and family online.
