Loreal Magic Beautifier BB Cream Review
What exactly does BB stand for? BB stands for "beauty balm". Stemming from Asia, this beauty phenomenon has swept across the US and infused itself as a household staple, available from all your favorite brands.
So, what's all the hype about? BB creams generally have several qualities. One product to replace several. The claim of this product boasts of several promises including; Hydration, priming, perfecting and correcting leaving a flawless bare skin look.
The product is white fresh out of the tube and has a slight grit to it. I tried it in place of my foundation. It turns to match your skin color with a light tint after rubbing into your skin. The look is super natural. I set the look with a light dusting of mineral powder and continued with a little bronzer.
I prefer more coverage on your average day. However, this is perfectly appropriate for the lazy weekends.
When it comes to its claims, it stands up pretty well. I agree that it primes, smooths and somewhat corrects. I still had some redness peaking through from below. I cannot see a hydration effect myself.
For the price, under $12 at most drugstores, it's a great multi-tasker to add to your beauty kit. I haven't tried any other BB creams yet so I cannot compare at this point. I think the idea of a BB Cream is very fascinating. I would love to see more moisturizing and priming effects for my own preference.
